Terms of Service

1. The service

Zipickle provides tools for tournament organizers to manage events, participants, schedules, and tournament communications. Features may change over time. Zipickle does not itself operate or supervise tournaments organized by independent users.

2. Organizer accounts and responsibilities

Organizers are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, safeguarding login credentials, and managing their tournaments lawfully. Organizers must have appropriate authority to enter participant information and must provide accurate event details and communications.

3. Participant information and consent

Organizers must provide required notices and obtain any legally required permission before entering or using participant personal information. In particular, organizers must obtain and document each participant's affirmative consent before enrolling that participant in tournament SMS notifications. A participant's phone number alone is not consent. Organizers must honor withdrawals of consent.

4. SMS notification program

Where enabled, Zipickle may send tournament-related text messages on behalf of participating organizers, such as scheduling information, match updates, and tournament announcements. Messages are intended for participants who have affirmatively opted in, including through a documented verbal consent process.

Message frequency varies based on tournament activity. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to SMS is optional and is not a condition of purchasing goods or services. Reply STOP to opt out of further messages or HELP for assistance. You may also contact support@zipickle.com. Delivery is subject to carrier availability, and messages may be delayed or undelivered.

SMS opt-in data and consent information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for additional information.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use Zipickle to send unsolicited messages, harass others, violate applicable laws, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, or misuse participant information. We may restrict access where necessary to address misuse or security concerns.

6. Third-party services

Zipickle may rely on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, data storage, and messaging. Their systems and carrier networks may affect service availability. Separate third-party terms may apply to services you use independently.

7. Availability and changes

We work to maintain the service but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that tournament notifications will arrive at a particular time. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features as needed. Organizers should maintain alternative communication arrangements for time-sensitive tournament matters.

8. Intellectual property

Zipickle's software, branding, and original content belong to Pike-Q LLC or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership rights. Organizers retain responsibility for content they submit and grant us permission to process it to provide the service.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Zipickle is provided on an “as available” basis without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free service. Pike-Q LLC is not responsible for tournament operations managed by independent organizers. Any limitation of liability applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law; these Terms do not waive rights that cannot legally be waived.

10. Updates to these Terms

We may revise these Terms and update the effective date shown above. Continued use after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Where required, we will provide additional notice.
